Not many updates this month. The Bilgemunky.com staff (i.e., me) has been travelling a bit this summer, recently returning from St. Marys Georgia and about to cast off again for Galveston Texas and New Orleans Luisiana. All this travelling (along with the numerous repairs needed to the exterior of Stately Bilgemunky Manor) has left precious little time for rum reviews, and even less for dredging up news about exciting pirate happenings. But it's summer, dang it - you should be outside, not cooped up reading this benthos.

That said, the wheels of Bilgemunky.com have been quietly spinning, and next month will see new reviews and updates. And to kick it all off will be the formal announcement of

The First Ever Flying Dutchman Award for Outstanding Pirattitude

Check back on September 1st to learn all about this prestigious award - Why was it created? Whom shall receive it? And how it will change the world of piracy forever?
