Bilgemunky Radio 209 – Farewell and Adieu

Tonight’s Bilgemunky Radio marked our last episode before an extended hiatus. Due to mounting technical difficulties we’re just not currently able to produce a show of the quality you’ve come to expect, and will therefore be taking the summer off. This will give us time to regroup, purchase some new equipment, and drink margaritas. Enjoy tonight’s episode, and if you can’t make it through summer without your Monday night pirate music fix, check out the podcasts 🙂

  1. I understand why you are doing this, but I will miss your show while you are gone. I know you will come back stronger than before.

PS You are going to get the stuffing hugged out of you at Nor Cal. Because I will be missing you…….

    Doc Potions

  2. Hello from Roswell New Mexico! Sorry to hear about your difficulties I can fully understand as I also am having trouble with my talk show as well. If I may ask what broadcast software do you use? How do you go ‘live’? Many thanks…Ian

  3. For live broadcast I use SAM Broadcaster. During the broadcast it automatically saves an mp3 of the show, which I then release as a podcast using RSS Feed Creator. Hope that helps – if you have further questions feel free to give me a shout at 🙂

  4. Well I hope you are to be back on air when I run off to adventure and live as but a rogue and vagabond with nothing but my heart as my guide! The occasional Monday night broadcast will be nice!

  5. ” Oh Harle ‘ can’t you do better than that?”
A useful quote from “Treachery and a Dead Mans Promise”
Enjoy yar time off Mate! See ye in Norcal with some Rum!

  6. It’s been a whole month. without new Bilgemunky. Missing the show and the chat room. Can hardly wait until your back.

  7. I sure hope that the first episode back is extra long. 3 hours at least, maybe with some After Dark. That would be nice.

  8. Bilge, thanks for including Bounding Main in your final show of Bilgemunky Radio 2.0! Safe travels, pleasant margaritas and happy fact gathering on your adventures.

  9. Sorry to see you go for the summer, but as long as you’ll be back, I’ll wait patiently for your return! Thanks so much for playing The Jolly Rogers as often as you do, it means a lot to us that the Pirate Community likes what we do!!! The JR’s will have a NEW CD for you to play in September! I will send you one when they are ready!!

  10. Yar! Bilge off the air? What is this black magic? I still pop in and listen to a podcast now and then… I hope in the future you’ll be back!
